Mika and I have a very interesting story.
It begins with a girl. I was newly seeing her
and he had freshly split.
He helped her write and produce
some hit songs in the UK
and they were touring the US together.
Fast-forward not too far and the girl deleted me
but Mika and I have grown closer.
Skating around Paris, filming videos
& jamming at any opportunity.
Funny how a style which a cute girl seeks
can bring two great minds together
with similar physique.
We'd already recorded a few sessions in Paris
years prior, but this would be the first time
having Mika's talent in my home studio
with my own engineering, instruments
and really no external distractions.
Mika is a super experienced songwriter
and musician from Paris who's been a part
of some very big music projects in my opinion.
Therefore, I have a ton of respect for him
and I really cherish our connection.
I really learned a lot during this time
with this project.
Feeling way more tapped into jazz and musical fluidity.
